Simon and Stefan, minutes after handing in their resignations - April, 1997 - the birth of "Cardiff Motorcycle School".

After working for a well known national company for many years, Stefan and a work colleague decided to go it alone. The result of this was the Cardiff Motorcycle School being started in 1997. This start came hot of the heels of the Direct Access Scheme and the school was therefore at the cutting edge of the new legislation as it was put in place.Twelve years later we still have the same ethos and again are at the cutting edge of the latest changes to the motorcycle two part final test.

Cardiff Motorcycle School were the first instructors to put students through a Direct Access Course in Cardiff and maybe even in Wales. And again this was the case with the introduction of the module one and two tests, however, this time round it would be in Newport ( Gwent ) at the new multi purpose test centre.  This we feel shows how committed we are to being out in front as a training school, not only in our training but also professionally. As with all things this means we have to strive to continually improve our skills in order to stay in front (we believe that second place is the first looser).

We have developed a wide range of courses that suit all levels of student, from novice through to very experienced rider.

Passing your test with some of the most experienced motorcycle instructors in Wales will be just one of the joys of training with us. From CBT to Post Test Off-Road riding, we cover all aspects of riding motorcycles.
